The gift of ultrasound is an important part of the circle of life. We donate ultrasound machines to Care Net or other pregnancy centers that meet our criteria. A pregnant woman in crisis sees her baby for the first time on an ultrasound machine donated by 4US. 96% of those mothers will bring a baby into the world.

Care Net of Puget Sound & Pregnancy Resources Centers (PRCs)

Care Net of Puget Sound is the foremost 4US beneficiary and continues to play an integral role in identifying affiliate centers that are also in need of support from 4US. The Care Net mission is to serve women facing unplanned pregnancy with entirely free services. Care Net, along with similarly structured pregnancy resources centers, strategically open centers in underserved areas, such as urban communities and areas in close vicinity to college campuses, to best serve women in the most need. An astounding 350,000 women are treated each year in Care Net’s 1,200+ centers across the United States. Unfortunately, ultrasound machines are extremely expensive and Care Net and other PRCs do not have the resources to equip every center with this technology. Out of the 2,100+ centers across the U.S., only 400 are equipped to perform ultrasounds. 

1 Machine = 2,000 lives
The math is simple. Each center where we've placed a machine will serve, on average,  200+ women with an ultrasound per year. The lifespan of each machine we provide is 10 years.  Each machine will illuminate hope for 2,100 women over its lifespan.  2,000+ mothers & children will know the joy of life.  We've just delivered our 16th machine! Those who ultimately benefit from the work of 4US are mothers and their children that are saved each day. Women facing unplanned pregnancy often feel as if this journey will be experienced alone. Instead, 4US beneficiaries offer these women counseling, literature, partnerships with free medical providers, connections to adoption resource centers, and a wide array of other free services. This loving network of support provides a non-threatening and comforting environment for women to make the decision that is best for their future, and their baby’s.
