11.01.09 FUNDRAISING EXTENDED THROUGH DECEMBER 31ST
In response to many of our champions who'd like more time to raise funds, we're extending this year's fundraising drive through December 31st. Many of our Washington State Knights of Columbus councils haven't had the opportunity to meet, vote and then raise funds within their parishes in support of a National Knights of Columbus ultrasound initiative which was announced in October. We encourage you to be our champion in your church, office and neighborhood and continue raising funds to illuminate hope...your gift today will echo into eternity.

5K RACE RESULTS 10K RACE RESULTS
We hosted our first USAT certified races this year. 174 runners turned out to race under an emerald green canopy through an old-growth forest and along the azure waters of Commencement Bay. Unfortunately, a handful of leaders got lost in the forest due to a course marshall directing them the wrong way (when a police man tells you to go left -- you go left). While we pride ourselves on being an all-volunteer charity, we don't take pride in looking like an all-volunteer charity. We fixed the error quickly for the remainder of our racers to make it to the finish. We regret the error and those 5 runners will receive free registration for our 2010 event.

09.20.09 NUMBERS THAT ECHO INTO ETERNITY
Wind and rain didn't stop 1,000 champions from joining the rhythm of life yesterday. While our bike ride, run and motorcycle rally suffered from the dismal early morning conditions; those that came were rewarded with warmth and sunshine by the start of our Family Fun Fest at 10:00 am. While we saw depressed turnout for our early events, we enjoyed record turnout for Walk 4US and FUN 4US. Thus far, we've raised over $80,000 towards our fundraising goal of $150,000. Let's keep working over the next 40 days to reach our goal and purchase 5 machines for our beneficiary centers and illuminate hope for countless pregnant women in crisis.
