4US raises money to purchase ultrasound machines for clinics offering entirely free services to pregnant women, bringing the joy of motherhood into focus within a loving network of support. Our goal for 2008: raise $90,000 to buy three Sonosite ultrasound machines for Care Net Pregnancy Centers of Pierce County (CPC).
The life-giving and life-changing impact of ultrasounds are astonishing: in 2006, CPC of Pierce County performed 578 first-trimester ultrasounds for women considering their options. Upon seeing tiny, little fingers and toes, 560 women (97%) chose to bring a baby into the world surrounded by Care Net's loving network of support (counseling, medical care, maternity homes, daycare and adoption services). CPC's network provides entirely free care for as long as support is needed.
